Garage 5cm too small (height) - do people keep pre 72 vans outside ?

Is it a real issue or more of a sentimental one ?
Obviously not a good idea with leaky windows/roofs/safaris.

Garage too small

Let the tyres down a little and push in, then re-inflate if storing inside for a while
