The Tower and Capricorn Tower stand side by side on Sheikh Zayed Road to the south of the old centre of Dubai. The Tower is 54 storey high and Capricorn Tower is 46 storeys high. The Tower - in Arabic Al Burj - combines classic skyscraper design with Islamic style decorative elements. It was completed in 2002. Capricorn Tower has a futuristic look, perhaps with overtones of a giant CD rack. It was completed in 2003.
