Galerie Neu is a private gallery specialising in contemporary art. It opened in 1995. It is housed in a former stables building which once belonged to the veterinarian institute of the nearby Charité hospital. When I visited, the show 'Sans Soleil' was running, with works by Sean Snyder, Katja Strunz, Cerith Wyn Evans, Tom Burr and Peter Saville. The gallery is bright and airy with a high ceiling and all white walls. It's located on Philipstraße 13 north of Friedrichstraße station. Click here to view location. The gazelle looks great set against the white floor and walls. It is not an art work but borrowed from an antique shop.
