Eric 'Rey' Medina is a councillor in Quezon City's Second District, the largest in the city. Here he is on the left next to fellow councillors Reynaldo Miranda Jr and Vivienne Castello, with a teacher from the faculty of Bagong Silangan Elementary School on the right. The graduation ceremony is in progress - the students, all aged 10-11, are wearing white caps and gowns. I did a recorded interview with local councillor Eric 'Rey' Medina, who told me about his job, the challenges faced by local residents and the achievements of Quezon City Council in improving their living conditions.
