Selection of street signs gathered during my Chorlton photoshoot. Chorlton is one of Manchester's most popular residential districts, situated around 3 miles (5km) south west of the city centre. See my Chorl ton photo feature in Eyewitness in Manchester on the Manchester Online server.

I've featured the street signs, which are an important part of local identity. Watch out for photo features on equivalent residential districts in the other home cities including Rathmines Dublin, Kreuzberg Berlin and Greenwich Village New York.
