Liverpool Sefton Park palm house (bw)

Sefton Park Palm House is an ornate Victorian structure made of glass and cast iron, which was recently renovated. Here rendered in monochrome, the upper part of the roof with dome and cross is silhouetted against a cloudy sky.

Victorian greenhouses are magnificent pieces of architecture but expensive to maintain and renovate. It's great that Sefton Park Palm House has been returned to its original state after years of derection.
