The sun rising over Dubai Marina, a gigantic new holiday city with artificially created marinas and water channels and waterside skyscraper hotels and apartment buildings.

The development currently in progress in Dubai (mid-2004) is like nowhere else on Earth in scale and impact. And Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed says this is only 10 per cent of what's in store.
