Looking along the River Liffey from the south side of the river towards the Ha'penny Bridge and the Guinness brewery. It is December 1981. Points of interest include the round CIE bus stop sign and a C class Leyland Leopard in yellow ochre livery. Go to the DublinBuses.com website to see a similar bus taken further down the Liffey many years later.

In the late 1990's, the Ha'penny bridge was renovated and boardwalks above the water were added on the north side above the water. The 1981 scene is closer to the Dublin of James Joyce.
