The Municipal Buildings in Crewe are used by Crewe and
Nantwich Borough Council, and were opened in 1905.
Find out more about the remarkable story of the building on the Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council website.
The building has more the appearance of a French chateau than a British local government building and bears a similarity to the demolished Walkden Town Hall near Manchester. See my photo in Eyewitness in Manchester
