The Penshaw monument is a recreation of a classical temple built around the mid-19th century on a hilltop which used to overlook coal mines.

It's amazing to see a Greek temple looking out over the landscape of north eastern England.

Technical details:	Nikon D100 digital camera - To ensure correctly aligned verticals, I shot first in portrait orientation with the temple placed in the upper half of the frame. Then I shot the grass in landscape orientation, and took another shot for the sky. I combined all three in Photoshop to make a square image 3008 pixels wide and high.
