In The City, founded by Tony Wilson and Yvette Livesey, is the music industry's annual convention and festival. This is a composite of people from In The City 2000, which was held at the Crowne Plaza Midland Hotel Manchester. Famous faces include Tony Wilson (top left) Brian Eno (centre right) and Peter Saville (lower left).

In The City is glamorous, pretentious, stimulating, irritating, friendly, cliquey, always fun and always at the cutting edge.
