Passenger ships and tankers now dock on the opposite side of the Mersey facing the Pier Head. This is the yellow-painted tanker Lindarosa, with the Liver Building and other Liverpool landmarks visible on the other side of the river.

The recent opening of these docks has brought more ships into the Mersey, making it more lively and interesting
