Kim Fowley is a record producer, music publisher, songwriter and consultant who retired in 1964 after chart-topping success as a songwriter. Based in the California desert, he moves between LA, New York, the UK and Ireland, travelling on an Irish passport. He has written songs and worked with a long list of music acts from Motown stars to Cat Stevens, but still finds time to advise, encourage and promote young artists.
