The Town Hall building on Talbot Road, Old Trafford is the home of Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council, one of the 10 local authorities of Greater Manchester. See the Trafford MBC website www.trafford.gov.uk. It was opened in 1933 when Stretford was created a borough.

With its 1930's style architecture and red brick construction, this is is one of the most distinctive municipal buildings in the Manchester conurbation.
