Concorde visited Manchester during summer 1982. Here it is parked on the apron, seen from the end of the International Pier. It is painted in the early 80's British Airways livery with plain Union Flag motif on the tail and a long dark blue stripe along the portholes. The Speedbird insignia can be seen behind the cockpit windows.

I worked at Manchester Airport on the Information Desk from March to September 1982. I was given permission to walk to the end of the International Pier and take this photo, which up till recently was lying forgotten in a slide box.
