Heathrow Concorde roundabout with taxi

The Concorde model stands in the centre of the roundabout at the entrance to the tunnel at London Heathrow Airport. It appears to be about half size but from a distance looks virtually the same as the real thing. In the foreground, a black Metrocab of 1980's design passes on its way to the terminals.

Two forms of transport much used by the rich and famous. Concorde ended its passenger -carrying days in October 2003.
