Municipal sign on the border between Saddleworth / Oldham MBC, and Kirklees MBC on the road between Mossley and Holmfirth in the Pennines. Since 1974 Saddleworth has been part of Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council.

A white rose has unofficially been stuck on to the sign, reminding us that Saddleworth is part of Yorkshire in its historic boundaries.
