Angel Meadow

Park newly laid footpaths

Angel Meadow Park is the result of a campaign by local residents to transform the neglected and delapidated St Michael's Flags into pleasant green space. Here, footpaths have just been laid. Soon grass will be planted. In the background is New Century Hall in Manchester city centre.

Angel Meadow Park is an example of how much local residents can achieve. On the left are Friends of Angel Meadow Park founder Michael Wingfield and Blue Badge tour guide Ailsa Walters.
