Cheshire village of Astbury with daffodils

The village of Astbury south of Congleton Cheshire has an attractive green overlooked by houses, and a uniquely designed church with a separate steeple. In March and April the green is covered in daffodils.

Astbury represents the ideal of an idyllic English villagem a world away from the city. Astbury is 27 miles south of Manchester.
