Warning signs put up by local councils warn of numbers of people killed on roads in south Dublin and Co Tipperary North Riding. 'Caution no road markings' 'Danger accident black spot' say too more. Despite this the Irish Republic has a very high road casualty rate - probably because of growing traffic and the lack of dual carriageways / motorways.

The road system in the Republic really needs to be sorted out.
