Oak trees silhouetted against a deep blue sky on the hill above Lyme Hall, the stately home south east of Manchester. Lyme Hall is owned and maintained by the National Trust.

The hilltop location means we can see the full outline of the trees, with no background landscape. This is the striking view you see as you climb the hill near the main gates.
