Brooklyn Williamsburg Bank Building

The Williamsburg Bank building is the most prominent landmark in the Brooklyn area. It was built in 1929, the year of the Wall Street Crash. In 2005/6 it is being converted into condominiums (privately owned apartments with shared ownership of common parts of the building). Viewpoint is the ferry to Liberty Island

The Williamsburg Bank is a design classic from the golden age of the American skyscraper, and should rank alongside the Empire State and Chrysler Building.
