Cast iron facades New York and Manchester

Certain parts of Manchester have a strong resemblance to New York's warehouse district. On the left is a cast iron facade on Broadway, New York. On the right is the Hudson Building on Great Ancoats Street Manchester.

There really are many strong parallels between Manchester and New York but they are mostly forgotten.
