Talbot Bridge with buses and lorries

Talbot Bridge is the first crossing point over the River for traffic coming into the city from Dublin port. Here are four views with the twin chimneys of Ringsend Power Station behind. The bridge is used by thousands of vehicles every day including long distance buses, an Airlink double decker and an articulated lorry owned by Roadferry express. Matt Talbot Bridge was opened in 1978.

There is little to recommend Matt Talbot Bridge from a design point of view, but functionally it is an essential link in Dublin's road network.
