Entrance to Somerset House London

The neo-classical entrance portico leading to the inner courtyard of Somerset House, formerly used by the General Register Office and other government institutions, now the home of the Courtauld Institute Galleries.

More details about this magnificent historic building by the Thames at the official website www.somerset-house.org.uk/

The entrance reminds me a little of The Royal Academy of Arts on Piccadilly, and of my university Trinity College Dublin
