Dublin City

Council offices next to O

The offices of Dublin City Council are housed in a four grey four storey building built on the archaeological site of Wood Quay, next to O'Donovan Rossa Bridge.

Compared to the gradiose town halls of other cities, this building is plain and functional. In the late seventies when I was at Trinity College Dublin there was controversy over the future of the Wood Quay archaeological site, located on the site of the medieval city.
