We are looking along the Liffey from O'Donovan Rossa Bridge to Grattan or Capel Street Bridge with its three large and two small spans and cast iron railings. The bridge was opened in 1874 and was named after Henry Grattan MP. Further up the river are the 1960's office building overlooking O'Connell Bridge and the towers of the Ulster Bank centre.

The office building overlooking O'Connell Bridge has recently been renovated. It is one of the most prominent and yet most unrecognised buildings in Ireland. In my opinion it is a successful modern building in a traditional setting. It replaces a plain facade seen in old photos, and appears to be from around 1958. Can anyone offer any further info?
