These Georgian facades half way up Dublin's North Great Georges Street are covered with creeping plants. It's autumn and the leaves have turned brownish-purple. Nth Great Georges St is one of Dublin's best-preserved Georgian street. Fashion designer Jen Kelly and academic David Norris live just up the street from here.
North Great Georges Street is certainly an impressive street, though many of the houses have been altered and degraded. A few have been demolished and replaced by new facades built in the Georgian style. The James Joyce centre is located on this memorable street, which is just round the corner from Parnell Square on Dublin's north side.
