Will Kevans is lead singer of the London-based band Junk TV. Here he is in the lounge of the Midland Hotel Manchester during In The City music convention and festival, 2005.

The composition of this photo is inspired by medieval paintings, where figures such as the Madonna or the Angel Gabriel are framed within an arch. I get a lot of inspiration from paintings, and often visit galleries such as the Walker in Liverpool and the Courtauld Institute in London. I framed the arch carefully, but still had to move it down a bit in Photoshop.
