Looking from a country road near Marton, a rounded hill rises above the undulating snow-covered landscape of east Cheshire. The hill bears the mysterious name of The Cloud. Click to see all pictures of The Cloud including an aerial view.

A winter wonderland view that's all too rare in these times of mild winters. The hump back form of The Cloud appears as a sleeping giant and bears a certain resemblance to Jebel Hafeet in the UAE. This would make a good Christmas card image.
