The spire of Nuffield College seen along New Road Oxford from near the Oxfordshire County Council buildings. The Nuffield College spire was designed to fit in with the existing architecture of the Oxford colleges.

The Nuffield College spire has been described as the most modern and ugliest spire in Oxford. To me it has overtones of Soviet architecture of the 1930s and whatever its aesthetics, it's certainly unique and unmissable.
