Looking east over the pedestrian bridge which spans Princess Road, the A5103 in the district of Hulme, just south of Manchester city centre.

The footbridge over Princess Road is one of the few remaining elements of the previous Hulme, built in the 1960s and mostly replaced by the 1990s.
