180 degree panorama of the city of Kyoto as seen from the Kyoto Tower. The far left looks directly north, and the far right looks south. In the lower right is Kyoto railway station. On the left is the main hall of Hongan-ji, one of Kyoto's main temples.
I love Kyoto Tower, not just for the fantastic views but also for its retro design - It was built in 1964. On the lower observation deck there are some interesting black and white photos of Kyoto from the time the tower was opened. Kyoto Tower is a must-see attraction for visitors to Kyoto.
