Salford Greengate and Irwell industrial building

This industrial building in the Greengate area of Salford, close to Manchester city centre, is of historic interest due to the inscription in white lettering 'Greengate and Irwell 1950'. It must have been one of the first industrial buildings to be completed in Salford after the Second World War.

I'm glad to see that despite the development going on all around, this interesting relic of post war industrlal Salford hasn't been destroyed.
