Red neon signs around the top of Grafton Street in the centre of Dublin. We have three familiar local names: The Gaiety Theatre, the Grafton Barber and Captain Americas. The Gaiety, opened 1837, is Dublin's oldest theatre. Captain Americas, Grafton Street's American style hamburger restaurant, was there during my TCD years 1976 to 1981. I'm not sure about the Grafton Barber.
