Prague Zizkov Television Tower was built from 1985 to 1992. The unusually designed structure stands on a hilltop to the south of the centre of Prague in the Zizkov district. It's reported that locals despise the Prague TV Tower as a symbol of Communist domination and find it strange that visitors find it so interesting, and take photographs of it. www.prague-guide.co.uk. Personally I'm interested in any tall structure irrespective of whether it is pretty or not. This one is not exactly pretty, but it's interesting, and it wasn't there during my first visit to Prague in 1980.
