This building dating from the 1970's stands on the corner of Mount Pleasant. Its delapidated service tower with its white peeling paint has mobile phone masts at the top and advertisement boards at the bottom. Like other British cities, Liverpool has many architectural eyesores dating from the 60's and 70's. This one blights an important corner on Mount Pleasant, the street leading up to the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedal. I'm sure Urban Splash could transform this building in a similar manner to what they did with the Travelodge building nearby.
