Looking from Charing Cross footbridge along the Thames towards the Palace of Westminster and Westminster Bridge. Millbank Tower is silhouetted further along centre right. The sun is about to appear from behind a cloud, and is casting a bright reflection on the river.

The whale that strayed up the River Thames was carried back down the river earlier on the day I took this photo. Sadly the whale died before it could be returned to the sea.
