Looking north west across the skyline of London, two landmarks from the 1960's rise above the city: The office buidling Centre Point and the BT Tower, opened as the Post Office Tower. The lens is the Nikkor 300mm zoom which becomes effectively a 450mm lens when attached to the Fuji Finepix S3 with its smaller size sensor. The magnification is further increased by cutting out the centre of the picture - this is 2100 pixels by 1575 cut out of a canvas sized at 4256 x 2848. Hand held exposure was 1/91 of a second, ISO setting 800. A tripod is recommended when using a zoom lens for exposures less than 1/250 second - unless you can hold the camera as steady as I can!
