The Church of St Francis, Gorton Monastery, in Gorton, east Manchester, as it looked on the afternoon of Wednesday 5 April 2006. The church is currently undergoing major renovation and will reopen as a centre for events of various kinds.

The mural along the front tells the story of Gorton and the monastery. It is without doubt the most informative and best designed information mural I have ever seen.
