An arts-related project focusing on the phenomenon of
cities which are losing their population and industry. Architects academics and
artists will be looking at Detroit (USA), Ivanovo (Russia), Manchester/Liverpool (UK)
and
Halle/Leipzig (eastern Germany) and presenting their work in an exhibition
in 2004.
I am involved in Shrinking Cities, working with Dave Haslam to produce photos of artifacts from the Hacienda which have been bought or acquired by people. The Hacienda project will form part of the main exhibition in Berlin in 2004. About the photos This image is from the portfolio of Aidan O'Rourke photographer writer website publisher. Most images are copyright Aidan O'Rourke and may be available as prints or high resolution files. Some images are by other artists, and are published with their approval, or are included in reviews of their work. The portfolio contains a wide range of themes and image formats. The images are used to illustrate articles on this site, and to provide information about the subjects depicted. Not all images on this site are available as prints or high resolution files. Every photo request needs to be pre-approved by me first.
