, situated next to the River Mersey and Manchester Ship Canal between Widnes and Warrington. Its gigantic cooling towers and main electricity hall can be seen from points all over the north west. Our viewpoint is aboard the MV Mountwood, travelling down the Manchester Ship Canal on the Manchester Ship Canal Cruise.
