London Canary

Wharf and River Thames panorama

The buildings of Canary Wharf rise up behind the waterside apartment buildings along the Thames. The skyline on the south side of the river is empty of high rise buildings apart from the two blocks of flats on the right.

The transformation of the docklands from inland port to residential and commercial city is one of the most impressive examples of urban regeneration in the world.
