Groundbreaking digital SLR camera with very high image quality and large sensor size: 3008 x 2000 pixels (6 megapixels). Has many advanced features, and takes almost the full range of Nikkor interchangeable lenses.

The camera is a sturdy, reliable, versatile, inspiring and reasonably portable workhorse. It goes and goes and goes on just a short battery charge. As with other digital SLR's with interchangeable lenses, there is a problem with dust on the sensor. The marks can be removed in Photoshop, but to encounter this problem in a camera of this calibre is a little disconcerting. Perhaps some kind of self-cleaning device is required.
