The Palace of Westminster clock tower, known popularly as Big Ben, seen here from the corner of Whitehall with the red light trail of a passing car. Westminster is the name of the nearby cathedral, but in day to day usage, Westminster refers to the UK Houses of Parliament. I was walking to Victoria Coach Station to catch the overnight bus to Manchester when I stopped to take this photo. I used the Nikon Coolpix 990, held steady on the railing. The sloping angle is the result of the shape of the camera.
