There was a full moon over the Irish Sea on the evening of Saturday 4 November 2006, this is how it looked. To take this image I lay down on the ground and secured the camera on a rock. Then I took a series of shots from under exposed to overexposed. This image was taken at F11 and 1/30 of a second, ISO 200. This exposure would be suitable for use in bright sunshine, proving that the moon is brighter than you might think. Due to its much lower brightness, it's not possible to see the ring around the moon (which reminds me of an Irish song).
