Palmerston Park is situated in Rathmines south Dublin. It is a small park densely packed with all kinds of trees.

Palmerston Park is next to Trinity Hall where I lived in term time from Oct 1976 to June 1978. I always think of the trees in Palmerston Park when I hear the early U2 song 'Shadows and Tall Trees".

In 2006 I returned to re-photograph this spot, but couldn't find it. Trees and other elements seemed to have changed. I took a photo from where I think I took this one. View the thumbnail.
