We are looking south east along a straight stretch of the Al-Ain to Al-Wagan road in the east of the UAE. It's a single carriageway road across undulating desert terrain with red sand dunes and palm groves on either side. The dense green areas to the left and right are farms. A Hino truck is piled high with hay from one of the farms. It is windy today and there is a lot of dust in the atmosphere.

This remote road across the desert presents amazing vistas at every hilltop. The green of the palms contrasts beautifully with the red sand dunes, though the colours are muted today due to the dusty atmosphere.
