Sunset as seen over the Mersey Estuary looking from Crosby Sands. The tide is out. The sun is about to drop below the line of the mountains, some 25 miles away across the bay.

Is it the Bay of Naples? Is it the west coast of Ireland? Is it the outer Hebrides? No, it's Liverpool!
