The houses in the foreground are on Talbot Rd, near Ladybarn south Manchester. The house in the lower right is on the corner of Green St. The right hand steeple is the church of the Holy Innocents, Wilbraham Rd. Further in the distance is the tall slim spire of St Mary's Hulme. Rising up beyond the high rise flats of Salford is Winter Hill, some 20 miles distant.
